We have an immediate need for an Industrial Engineer in the Quincy, IL area.
Job
Summary:
Will participate at initiation phase of new product lines to assist in design for cost effective manufacturing; build tooling by motion economy principles.
Develop and design workplace layout using motion economy principles, handling devices, etc.
Develop, install, and maintain equitable standards.
Measure variances to standards, identify out of control variances, investigate reasons, suggest solutions, install, and follow up.
Keep division performance within budgeted performance parameters.
Keep abreast of trends technology; investigate and install most effective methods of manufacturing to keep the company competitive at all times.
Keep tally of the methods changes reducing cost of production and strive for budgeted goals.
Select appropriate technique of work measurement for and measure work contents of support labors.
Install standards and measure performance against standards.
Develop Management Information Systems for planning and control purposes.
Will maintain a fair and equitable standards structure to keep morale of labor force high.
Will maintain the least costly method of manufacturing at all times.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineeringCombination of experience, education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this positionExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work effectively as a member of the engineering teamAbility to problem solve Preferred:
Industrial Engineering DegreeOne (1) to three (3) years of experience in industrial engineeringLocation:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
